He belongs to the Balti tribe, indigenous to the Ladakh region. His educational journey took him from primary schooling in Kargil to higher secondary studies in Jammu, ultimately leading to an undergraduate degree in architecture.

Mohd Hussain completed his Bachelor’s in Architecture at Mata Vaishno Devi University.
